Head of Regenerative Agriculture
Unilever

In this position, Lucas leads the implementation of Unilever's regenerative agriculture strategy. The program has a pipeline of over 90 projects, mobilising suppliers in 27 different cultures.

These projects are developed in partnerships with brands such as Knorr and Hellman’s, as well suppliers, farmers and external partners. The program's primary objective is to positively impact the agricultural supply chain through sustainable practices.

His professional objective is to help companies create an innovative, healthy, and sustainable food system. With over 15 years of professional experience in large corporations, he has held procurement, operations, strategy, and sustainability positions, leading projects that built sustainable supply chains for fruit and dairy. He also worked with the decarbonisation of operations and worked on consolidating the companies' climate strategies.

He carries a giant curiosity, which is why, in parallel to his work, he is still studying for his PhD in sustainability strategy implementation.
